About Me
I am Berk Gürman, a singer, guitarist, musician, and arranger. I’ve created my own musical style, communicating like an ancient guru, blending the folklore of the oldest East (Anatolia) with the flamenco of the purest West (Andalusia). Raised in Istanbul, Turkey, I’ve played guitar since childhood. I studied at the Liceo de Pera Güzel Sanatlar and pursued sound engineering at the University of Bilgi and Cristina Heeren Fundación in Sevilla. At 25, I released my first album, Kısmet, with the song "Evlerin Önü Boyali Direk," which received excellent criticism for its originality. This marked my entry into the music industry, alongside my twin, Öykü Gürman. In the following years, I continued to develop my sound, drawing on the poetic traditions of my homeland and blending influences from East and West. My music speaks with a soulful language, becoming a personal and distinctive brand, offering universal social messages that aim to stir the soul and leave a deep impact.
